The story behind MK Logistics began long before the company's first vehicle was on the road. Growing up around their family's import, export and wholesale business in Singapore, Eugene and Elvin were exposed to logistics from a young age. Their regular visits to the Changi Airfreight Centre gave them early, first-hand exposure to shipment clearance, cargo handling and the importance of keeping goods moving efficiently.

After their parents retired, Eugene and Elvin spent six years in the waste management industry, working in both operational and management roles. This experience strengthened their knowledge of fleet management, manpower planning, customer service and the day-to-day discipline required to manage a successful operation.

MK Logistics began with Eugene driving a single van and completing deliveries for local businesses. As demand increased, Elvin joined the business and purchased its second van, supporting the company's growing operations. By personally handling deliveries, coordinating jobs and managing customers, they built the business from the ground up and gained practical experience across every level of the operation.

As MK Logistics expanded, the business developed into two key areas. Eugene took the lead in developing the company's cold chain solutions, while Elvin focused on general cargo and local transportation. Their complementary experience and hands-on leadership have enabled the company to grow steadily while maintaining the reliability, flexibility and personal commitment on which it was founded.

Today, Eugene and Elvin remain closely involved in the business and its daily operations. Their journey — from working with a single van to building a full-service logistics company — continues to shape MK Logistics' commitment to dependable service and long-term customer partnerships.
